Setup Two Way Email with Google Email

Connect your Gmail or Google email to Brivity to track all communication in one place.



Brivity integrates with Google or Gmail emails to send and receive emails using your actual email and to track all emails sent and received using that email in each contact timeline. Once you connect a Google based email, several things will happen.

Here's what happens when you connect a Google email:

  1. Outgoing and incoming emails show in the every contact record in Brivity
  2. System emails and manually-sent emails will send from your actual email address
  3. Emails sent from Brivity will show in your Google email Sent folder
  4. Emails sent from your regular email box will show in Brivity

Step 1: Click on Account then -> Personal


Step 2: Under Personal Info, select Sign In With Google.

Step 3: Choose the Google Account, and select ALLOW. The integration is complete!



Step  4: Add your signature to the text box. 


Troubleshooting tip: If you follow the steps above and the account does not stay synced, follow these steps
1. Re-sync your Google account
2. Go to myaccount.google.com in a new tab and hit security on the left side bar.
3. Scroll down to "Third-party apps with account access" and manage access.
4. Find Brivity on that page and remove access *make sure to remove ALL instances of Brivity on that page.
5. Go back into the personal page on Brivity and refresh the page, then reconnect with Gmail.
